News  Increase in tax credits for deleading

  • Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program

On October 4, 2023, Governor Healey signed into law Massachusetts’ first tax cuts in more than 20 years. Included is an increase to tax credits available to homeowners who delead their home.

  • Tax credit for Letters of Compliance is now up to $3000.
  • Tax credit for Letters of Interim Control is now up to $1000.
  • The effective date for the increased tax credits is January 1st, 2023.
